about

These 3 songs are part of my Afrospire 2013 demo project. I call them 'seedsongs' because they are also music for a cause. Aye & Ise Oluwa are my contributions to the 'One Earth One Voice' project, a non profit organization committed to the global call to take care of the earth as God's creation (Ise Oluwa is their global theme song). Ile (Home) is a song shared with 'Homecoming Revolution' an organization which focuses on African skills repatriation, leveraging the emotional hook of connecting the African diaspora to home . 100% proceeds from the downloads goes towards the start-up of the new nonprofit, Adopt A Guitar - all about talent, heart & music, placing guitars and training underprivileged talented youth all over the world. Please don't forget to share this link on social media.Thank you for your support.

Track Name: Ile (Home)
A thousand times a day
The mind must escape
The desert of illusion
A thousand times a day
Flowing from our hearts
Is the river of inspiration
At the end of your labour
Home is where the heart is
Home is where the heart is
Don’t you know Hmmm

(Singing in Yoruba language (Nigeria)
Ile Ile… Ile labo simi
Ile labo simi oko o
Ile Ile… Ile labo simi
Ile labo simi oko o

English Translation - Home is where you go after your journeys/hard labour
Literal Translation - Home is where you return to after your work at the farm

Listen to this song
Ringing loud and clear
It’s calling the prodigal sons
Although you have climbed Kilimanjaro
And crossed the boundaries of the ocean
In the midst of your journey
Home is where the heart is
Home is where the heart is
Don’t you know Hmmm

Ile Ile… Ile labo simi
Ile labo simi oko o
Ile Ile… Ile labo simi
Ile labo simi oko o

(Justice rapping (Ghana))
Building my bricks one by one
A perfect dream needs a perfect home
A thousand times a day
Escaping the desert of illusion
Did I not cross the barriers of the oceans
Irrigating love to the nation
Regardless of the love I irrigate
Regardless of the dreams I accommodate
Beyond the tour we navigate
A perfect home is where the heart is
Yay-ah

Where there’s love that’s where you belong to - Ile labo simi oko o
Where there’s peace that’s what to embrace - Ile labo simi oko o
Track Name: Ise Oluwa (God's Works)
Ise Oluwa
Ko le ba je o
God's works
Cannot be destroyed
Track Name: Aye (Earth)
Aye - Lyrics
When I wake up in the morning time
Ask me what I feel
I feel God, I feel me
I feel my heart beating in me
When I open up my window blinds
Let me tell you what I see
I see light, I see trees
I see blue, I see Green
(Singing in Yoruba, “Creator of the Earth, God of the earth, You created the heavens and the Earth”)
Akoda Aye.. Olu Aye
Eyin l’eda Orun Ohun Aye yi
Olu Aye ..Akoda Aye
Eyin l’eda Orun Ohun Aye

One Earth One Voice
Different Colors One Humanity
One God One Song
Sang in Perfect Harmony
Use your gifts and love
Use the opportunity to bless the earth
And to leave a legacy

Akoda Aye.. Olu Aye
Eyin l’eda Orun Ohun Aye yi
Olu Aye ..Akoda Aye
Eyin l’eda Orun Ohun Aye

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace, the mountains and hills will burst into song before you and all the trees of the field will clap their hands

Akoda Aye.. Olu Aye
Eyin l’eda Orun Ohun Aye yi
Olu Aye ..Akoda Aye
Eyin l’eda Orun Ohun Aye
